Thierry Mugler is a legendary fashion designer and is involved in the creation of his perfumes, both directly and indirectly. As a designer of mens and womens ready-to-wear fashions, his perfumers model their scents after the man and his work. Angel was his first signature fragrance launch. The bottle design was based on the timeless symbol of a star and arrived as a result of Thierry's imagination.

Angel Perfume

A perfume made without any financial boundaries, Angel falls into the more expensive perfume category. Some may feel that you get what you pay for with this scent as it is particularly intense and long lasting. The powerful fragrance is one of the most recognizable scents in the world today. As the number one selling fragrance in France, the number two in Europe (only behind Chanel No. 5) and among the top ten in the United States, Angel perfume has swept the perfume market for over a decade.

First created in 1992, Angel perfume has been described as both a deliciously romantic scent and resembling the smell of pine cleaner - depending on who you talk too. A true love-it or hate-it scent, the fragrance smells uniquely different to diverse noses. Classified as an oriental and spicy fragrance, the perfume provides sweet notes in honey, vanilla, carmel, chocolate, sandalwood and with a strong patchouli overture. The lingering scent includes a hint of citrus and fruity notes, but the distinctive flavor of chocolate remains.

As the scent is particularly strong, it is best to purchase the smallest bottle to try before making a serious investment. Angel for Men

Due to the significant success of the female version, Thierry Mugler introduced Angel Men in 1996. A similar fragrance to the women's Angel, it uses many of the same notes. An extremely intense male fragrance, it has been known to last for over sixteen hours. For a casual evening scent, it adds the aroma of coffee and mint to the Angel base.
